Going to get a logo for your company?

The moment you start a business, the next question is to ask how would you like your logo to look like? It is essential to get a solid understanding by asking a lot of questions to draw out as much information as possible. By doing so will help pave the way to a successful outcome to bring a vision for your company as well as to build a long lasting relationship that will result in repeat business. Here are some questions to ponder over when designing a logo…

1. About the Company

a) What is the name of your company / organisation / product?
b) Can you describe your business nature?

2. About the Target Audience

a) Who is the primary target audience or ideal clients?
b) What is the target audience’s age group?

3. Any Design Preferences

a) What colours or colour palettes do you like and why?
b) Are there any elements from the existing logo (if any) that you will like to keep and why?

4. About the Brand

a) What are the values and / or mission statement of your company?
b) Do you have a tag line or slogan that goes along with your logo?

5. Any Timeline & Budgeting

a) Do you have a deadline that needs to be considered?
b) Do you have a budget in mind for the new logo?

Slow Trend or New Trend?

In today times, things seem to be moving slowly. Everyone is saying that the economic is going downwards or moving slowly. Likewise for us, we have been getting a lot of enquiries but no confirmation yet. Most of them are just pending the management decision whom in turn are sitting on it. On the other hand, a lot of new companies are starting up, with new businesses come new projects as well. We had quite a few logo design projects, which is a good sign as well.

So the question is which side do you belong to? The side where you say it is a slow trend and sit on it or you believe a new trend is coming up and prepare for it? Something for a thought…
