Brochure for Safe Keeping?

Most people do know of the need to get brochures and / or other marketing materials to advertise about their company’s products and services. If you have already done so, that is a good start. However, what are you supposed to do with the marketing materials after printing it? Sadly, I have heard of clients who still possessed copies of their brochures from as long as 3 years ago! Surprising? Not really. No doubt, they have taken the first step to advertise, but they did not know how to go about disseminating the message across to the target audience and thus ended up with stacks of brochures which are collecting dust, as time goes by.

From my point of view as I always told them, by keeping the marketing materials in their warehouses or store rooms, no one would know about the products and services that they are providing except themselves. Instead, if they were to tap on their immediate social network and begin by distributing it to their friends, relatives or people from the same industry, it would be a great avenue to start advertising for their company. In addition, it may also bring them potential leads if it somehow reaches their target audience. How is that possible, you ask? That is because, you would never know what really happens after each individual receives your brochure. Some may dump it into the bin and there may be yet some others who may pass it to people whom they think would need your products and services. You would never know if you don’t give it a try. Anyway, it beats leaving the brochures to collect dust in your warehouse, doesn’t it? So, take that chance and start distributing it today instead of safe keeping it…
